1. The service

ArtworkValue (artworkvalue.com), operated by Diversico GmbH, lets you upload photos of an artwork or object and receive an automated, informal estimate of its value. The service is free of charge.

2. No appraisal, no authentication

Estimates are generated automatically from photos and the information you provide. They are opinions, not appraisals in any legal or professional sense, and they cannot authenticate a work or confirm its attribution. Actual prices can differ substantially. Don't rely on an estimate for insurance, tax, legal, lending or sale decisions; get a written appraisal from a qualified appraiser.

3. Your uploads

Only upload photos you are entitled to use. Don't upload photos of people, personal documents or illegal content. You grant us the right to process your uploads to provide the estimate.

4. Fair use

Automated or bulk use, attempts to circumvent usage limits and use for purposes other than valuing objects you own or are responsible for are not permitted. We may limit or block access.

5. Appraisal referrals

If you request a professional appraisal, we may forward your request to an independent appraiser. Any appraisal contract, fee and report are solely between you and the appraiser.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from the use of estimates or the unavailability of the service.

7. Governing law

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Regensdorf, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
